FMG
Nigeria's vast population and robust economy have earned it the alias "Giant of Africa" (Mukhtar, 2021). Nigeria has around 250 ethnic groupings, speaks about 380 languages, and has a wide variety of cultural and religious practices. Despite all of these advantages, public health issues have long been a persistent challenge that has threatened the country's stability and well-being. Poor sanitation and hygiene, the eradication of vector-borne illnesses, infant and maternal mortality, infectious and non-communicable diseases, waste management, drug and substance abuse, alcoholism, environmental pollution, injuries from road traffic accidents, and ongoing doctor strikes are among Nigeria's major public health challenges. Cardiovascular disease, TB, hepatitis, cancer, diabetes, sickle cell disease, malaria, asthma, coronary heart disease, obesity, stroke, hypertension, road traffic accidents, mental illnesses, and more are just a few of the illnesses with a growing burden in Nigeria.
Nigeria is one of the most medically backward countries in Africa, which evidence is the prevalent medical tourism by the rich and middle class to enable them to access proper healthcare outside the country. It is worth a note of attention that Nigeria is currently losing 75% of its medical personnel to emigration leaving the country more backward in terms of healthcare.
However, the leading cause of death to the Nigerian masses is not Just sickness but lack of proper diagnosis due to limited access to the standard medical diagnostic equipment. Admitted that few hospitals could actually boast of standard health care equipment but the cost of medical care in such places are beyond the reach of the average Nigerian since there is no proper Healthcare coverage or policy in place.
Additionally recent studies have shown that the mortality rate among pregnant women during delivery or after delivery is on the increase due to post Partum's haemorrhage and there is no standard equipment for containing bleeding or performing a successful hysterectomy.

Consequently, the need for charity and donations of these scares' commodities are imminent to salvage and save the teaming population dying of undiagnosed or misdiagnosed ailments HENCE this initiative to come and volunteer for the intervention.
Our charity is already in alliance with many locally based Non-profit organizations in Nigeria who will also assist in locating and distribution of the free medical equipment to Health centre and hospitals in the rural areas especially the Northern part of Nigeria. Some of these medical equipment could be used but functional apparatus that will assist in the detection and treatment of diseases.
